Luanne Wolff

With sadness we announce the passing of long time member and supporter of the Center, Luanne Wolff. She made her transition gently and peacefully on November 17th after a yearlong cancer journey. She was 63 years old.

In July, she chose the stop her debilitating treatment and live each day joyfully with her beloved partner Barbara. They did exactly that until just two days prior to her transition when she slipped into a quiet calm and gently let go.

Luanne served on the Board of Trustees, helped create the Legacy Team guidelines at its inception, was a WomanSpirit Committee member for 25+ years, and was instrumental in advocating for continuing education at the Center for people who wanted further classes without being on the Practitioner licensure path. Additionally she was a wonderful writer of short stories and graced us with readings at Stepping Stones events more than once. She did not want a formal service, however friends sharing stories or swapping photos and memories in small groups would be more her style. May blessings abound.

  3. To me, Luanne will always be dear to my heart for introducing me to Women’s Spirit. Through dancing around the fire, playing tribal drum music, making reflective art, writing poetry and experiencing the deep levels of community and connection with myself and others, it was transformative to my life. She modeled honoring a woman’s “goddess within” and the importance of embracing our Female Divine ...I will always love her strength and humor...❤️❤️❤️
