Frances
E. Ross (aka Linda) passed away peacefully January 17, 2014 in her home,
surrounded by family and loved ones. Linda, the “Ladybug Queen,” was 91. She died gracefully after a rich life of good
times and good works. Her loving son,
Jerry Ross, stepdaughter Sally Ross Riordan, grandchildren, Jack, Emma and
Alice and their mother, Lora Lee, will sorely miss her.
Linda’s surviving siblings, Joe Brayer of
Alamo, Texas and Dorothy Baumer of Lake Havasu, Arizona, and her many adoring
nieces, nephews, and cousins will also miss her. Linda was preceded in passing by her older
sister, Peggy Wick of Palm Desert, California just days earlier. They join their other siblings, Mary, Ann,
Rose, John and Ralph who all grew up on a farm in Marshfield, Wisconsin.
Her generous and loving spirit, along with
her art and craftwork of ladybugs and flower bookmarks were appreciated by many. A memorial service is planned for March 8 at
1:30 pm at the Center for Spiritual Living, 2075 Occidental Road, Santa Rosa,
California 95401. Donations in Linda’s name can be sent to the center.
