Gregory Willard Hazzard, May 23, 1954 – December 4, 2013

Greg lived and worked in many  countries abroad in his younger years  before settling in Sonoma County in 1978. He worked in the computer software  industry after receiving his B.S. from  Sonoma State University in 1989.  

He and his wife, Jennifer, raised their  two children, Vivienne and Joel, in Sebastopol.    In addition to his wife and children,  he is survived by his parents, Gerald and Marilyn Hazzard of Fallbrook, CA; sister, Lisabeth Fletcher of Kapaa, HI;  brother, Scott Hazzard of Diamond Bar, CA; brother, Brad Hazzard, and sister-in-law, Linda Hazzard of Gig Harbor, WA; nieces and nephews.      

Greg took pride in his garden and  loved hiking with his family, visiting the  Sonoma Coast, cycling, and kayaking. He struggled with depression for many years.     

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2014, at 12 noon at the Sebastopol  Christian Church,7433 Bodega Ave., Sebastopol, CA.
